October was National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We set up this section of our website to feature our patients who have had breast cancer or are currently undergoing treatment. We want to recognize them and celebrate their courage.
During October, we sent out an email newsletter with information on breast cancer and a link to the National Breast Cancer Foundation's early detection plan. This free service sends email reminders for monthly self exams. For more information on breast cancer awareness visit the National Breast Cancer Foundation website.
